Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Our preliminary estimates are completely free with no obligation. We provide cost ranges, timelines, and scope recommendations at zero cost. There is no sales pressure. We earn your business by delivering accurate, useful information.
How long until I receive my estimate?
Within 24 hours for most project types. Complex multi-service projects or unusual site conditions may take 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting.
What information do you need from me?
At minimum: your name, email, and project type. The more detail you provide about scope, budget range, property location, and timeline, the more accurate your estimate. Optional fields help us tailor the response.
How accurate are preliminary estimates?
Preliminary estimates are typically within 15–25% of final project cost. After an on-site consultation, we refine the range to within 5–10%. Final fixed-price proposals are exact.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Many clients start with a general idea. We help define scope, identify options at different budget levels, and recommend approaches based on your property and goals.
Can I get estimates for multiple project types?
Yes. Submit one request and mention all project types you are considering. We will provide ranges for each and identify opportunities to combine services for savings.
What is design-build and why is it cheaper?
Design-build means one team handles both design (architectural plans) and construction. This eliminates coordination gaps between separate architects and contractors, reduces change orders by 50–70%, and typically saves 15–20% compared to the traditional approach.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. As a licensed general contractor (CSLB #1105249), we manage the entire permit process including architectural plans, structural engineering, Title 24 energy compliance, and LADBS plan check. This is included in our project proposals.
How do 2026 market conditions affect my costs?
Post-wildfire rebuilding demand has increased labor costs 5–10% year-over-year. Material lead times have extended 2–4 weeks for many categories. Early planning and locked pricing protect your budget. Our estimates reflect current Q1 2026 market rates.
What areas of Los Angeles do you serve?
All of Los Angeles County including Westside, San Fernando Valley, Hollywood Hills, South Bay, Downtown, Pasadena, Calabasas, and surrounding areas. Your estimate includes neighborhood-specific cost factors.
How do I verify your contractor license?
Visit cslb.ca.gov and search license #1105249. You will find our active B-license, $25,000 surety bond, and clean disciplinary record. We encourage every homeowner to verify their contractor.
What happens if my budget doesn't match my goals?
We present options at multiple price points and help you prioritize. Phased construction, scope adjustments, and material alternatives can align ambitious goals with realistic budgets. No project is too small to discuss.
Can I combine multiple projects for savings?
Yes. Combining projects saves 15–20% through shared mobilization, permits, and subcontractor scheduling. Common combinations: kitchen + bathroom, renovation + ADU, pool + pool house, exterior + interior.
Is there any obligation after receiving an estimate?
None. The estimate is yours to keep. If you want to proceed, we schedule a free on-site consultation to refine the scope. If not, no follow-up pressure.
